Our team releases free firmware updates occasionally to address issues and new features brought to our attention. If you have a request or bug, please report it to support@aidaimaging.com so we can work on it. We thank you for your feedback and helping us create better and improved experiences with our products! 😁

Installation instructions are provided in each download, so please follow ALL instructions (there are multiple steps sometimes!) to ensure nothing goes wrong during your updating procedure! If you need a previous version, or help installing the firmware do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone during normal business hours. We are here to help!

Most of our upgrades require a Windows PC to install. Please ensure you are on that device and come back to this page!

NOTE* All our firmwares are made one by one, but collectively they all get released on one date. If the DATE on the firmware is older than the FW date posted, do not be alarmed. Always go with the APP/FW version when checking which is the latest.

Hear ye, noble patrons! We, the keepers of the AIDA Establishment, have listened well to thy words and pondered upon thy concerns. With steadfast resolve, we have taken heed of thy troubles and have sworn to mend them forthwith! New measures have been put in place, and improvements are underway to ensure thy satisfaction. We value the trust thou hast bestowed upon us, and we pledge to continue striving for excellence in all things!

Products Updated: HD-NDI-200, HD3G-NDI-200, HD-NDI-X20, HD-NDI-POV Series, NDI3-POV Series, PTZ-NDI Series, PTZ4K12G-FNDI-X30, PTZ-IP Series, CCU-IP, CCU-MINI

General Changes:

  • NDI® HX2 Updated!  – All our NDI® cameras are now updated to NDI’s latest HX 2 requirements. That means DHCP with automatic fallback, faster, and more reliable NDI®! We’ve also removed the PTZ option when using our POV cameras – giving you more screen real estate for your viewing pleasure!
  • Staying LOCKED in 🔐 – Added the ability to maintain the same IP address assigned at DHCP. No more random changes!
  • Ye Old SRT gets Love! – SRT gets a HUGE upgrade with text placeable addresses, and longer character limits! 
  • All Sync’d Up – Serving our NTP lovers, we adjusted the NTP port to natively be 123, as well as add GMT+13 for our friends in the future! 🙋‍♂️🏄‍♂️

PTZ4K12G-FNDI-X30:

  • How did you see that? – Fixed a user reported issue where 1 line of pixels would be blurry in High Bandwidth NDI mode. Good eye!

NDI HX3 Cameras:

  • Actually HUGE – In a surprise update, the UHD-NDI3-300 and UHD-NDI3-IP67 have now been given the power of e-PTZ. Panning and Scanning along a 4K image gives you more verstaility with this POV!
  • I Want to Soak Up the Sun! 🌞– Our NDI HX3 series cameras get another huge upgrade with AE exposure changes! We heard sunlight is causing issues with IP67 related cameras, so giving the camera a wider range of workable IRIS now makes the camera look just right even in bright conditions. This is a game changer!!

CCU-IP and CCU-MINI:

  • Cats out of the bag 🐈🎒 – On the CCU-MINI, a password option wasn’t possible.. Now it is!
  • Return of the MAC – On the CCU-IP, the MAC address is now viewable!

Our older cameras needed some love this Valentines, so our engineers got to work!

*NOTE – The updates for the PTZ’s are really big, so we had to resort to serial upgrades again.. I know we mentioned this wouldn’t be the case but when updating via the webUI the success rate was around 33%. IF you have a hard installation, let our support team know and we can send you the files to upload.. however if it bricks you will HAVE to serial cable upgrade in the end.. Sorry for that inconvenience. 😥

 

Cameras Updated: NDI-POV Series (Cube, MINI, IP67, VF), HD-NDI-200, HD-NDI-X20, PTZ-X12 (IP/NDI), PTZ-X20(IP/NDI), PTZ-NDI-X18, Engineering Tool

Overall Changes:

  • New Year, New Me – Our older models finally get the refresh they deserve! All models should have the new updated GUI
  • Speak Properly!- Our camera settings are not a bit clearer on its intentions..
  • Squashing Bugs All the Time! – Fixed a lot of metadata and frame data being read wrong.. thanks Goal Sport Software 🙂
  • Do as I Say! – Camera states can be saved and applied to other cameras of the same caliber!
  • Trimming – Lots of older features that don’t work got the boot.
  • For the lazy..  – HDMI models can now change the digital output from the menu, no longer need to enter the HDMI menu!
  • NTP, Not the Problem – Fixed NTP sync, allowing for cameras to be clocked and synced via a NTP server!
  • Hold the flashlight still! – Fixed an issue where some settings weren’t saving upon reboot. (make sure you give the camera time to realize the settings before removing the power!!!)

NDI Camera Changes (except NDI-POV)

  • Finally! – Its been awhile since we’ve updated the NDI on these guys, expect more consistent, stable performance.

HD-NDI-X20

  • Dual Language Speaker – Fixed some issues with VISCA not matching specific commands.

To be added in the next update (hopefully…) : SRT Update, account options, rotation, more web UI options

Cameras Updated: PTZ-NDI3-X20, PTZ4K Series, NDI-POV Series (cube, mini, IP67, VF), NDI3-POV Series

Overall Changes:

  • Lookin Good! – AIDA got a makeover! Explore our new web UI and see what new features are added!
  • Jargon. That is all – Fixed a lot of the jargon to be more “precise”
  • Day/Night Mode – Added the option for IR filter swapping in the web ui!
  • Write that down! – Save the WHOLE camera’s state, and recall it via a text file.
  • Amogus – Removed even MORE WEBUI imposters that just shouldn’t be there..
  • Digital Output  – On select models with HDMI, change the resolution via the web UI!
NDI Camera Changes:
  • Latest and Greatest – Updating NDI to its latest and greatest form!
  • HX3 Cleanup – HX3 maintenance from NDI® themselves!

PTZ-NDI3-X20, PTZ4K-NDI-X12, PTZ4K-NDI-X30 Changes:

  • Somebody’s watching me! – Auto-tracking is now released! Give it a whirl and stalk- i mean follow your target!
  • Get the wrench Marty!  – Fixed an issue with web encoding timecode that would affect both NDI and IP streaming.

We got a big update on all our IP based Cameras! Notably a big difference in our NDI® Cameras.


Cameras Updated: PTZ-IP Series, PTZ-NDI Series, HD-NDI-200, HD-NDI-POV Series

New Updates: HD-NDI-X20 / PTZ4K-NDI-X30

Overall Changes:

  • Resolutions made simple! – We adjusted the resolution and framerates to properly reflect the most common framerates found within the streaming circle. Using different framerates caused instability in cameras, so it was better off without it!
  • IP Bug – Fixed a bug where IP streams were incorrectly displaying the wrong framerate (goes hand in hand with the change above.)
  • Standby, Wakeup – Via the webUI, you are now able to shut off the video feed using the Standby, and Wake feature found in the Reset to Default tab.
  • White Balance, but with temperature! – All our IP cameras can now adjust the white balance according to a temperature! Giving you more options in customizing your stream! (Unfortunately, the HD-NDI-200 is the only camera that does not get this feature.)
  • Wait, you shouldn’t be there! – Removed some WEBUI settings that just shouldn’t be there..
  • Auto Exposure Tuning – We are tweaking some AE settings for outdoor use. Still a work in progress!

NDI Camera Changes:

  • Device Naming, Finally! – You are now able to change your AIDA camera’s name, that way on NDI studio monitor, you can easily find your camera.
  • Multicast – You now have the ability to Multicast from your cameras for multiple streaming receivers!
  • Upkeep – As always, we are always fine tuning our NDI® streams to get the best out of them!

PTZ-NDI-X18:

  • Reset, please! – Fixed an error where sometimes factory default wouldn’t reset the camera.
