Founded in 2016, AIDA quickly became known for its micro POV solutions and broadcasting equipment, introducing cost-effective ways to enhance video streaming without breaking the bank. Today, AIDA is a trusted name in the broadcast and proAV industry, delivering a versatile lineup of PTZ and POV cameras designed to meet the evolving needs of current streaming and production needs.
Although young, our company’s journey did not begin in 2016, but the early 2000’s. Our manufacturing prowess was in full effect decades earlier in the security industry, where our team specialized in creating small, micro SDI POV cameras. With the ever-growing foundation, AIDA was born to focus on the broadcast sector, utilizing the expertise garnered along the way to develop a range of cutting-edge cameras built to enhance the many ways users capture and stream their art. With such a big change, AIDA would not be where it is without its appreciated global userbase, providing the motivation and feedback used to create, maintain, and evolve our proliferating lineup seen today.

AIDA Imaging was officially born in March, 2016. With a small amount of engineering products, AIDA stepped up to the plate and tried to make a name for itself.
With AIDA making moves, we attended our first tradeshow at the NAB Las Vegas tradeshow in 2016. Here we displayed a small selection of engineering model cameras, and equipment.
After great feedback from the show, AIDA fully developed and officially released their first product - the GEN3G-200. Targeting the broadcast sector, this camera was a cost-effective directly genlockable micro-pov camera which went on to become a hot seller!
AIDA steadily outgrew its original warehouse, and decided to move slightly west into the heart of Covina, California! This facility was capable of holding more stock, and had extra offices.
AIDA's first PTZ - the PTZ3-X20L was officially released to the public! This Full-HD PTZ changed the market's landscape by providing exceptional video quality at the fraction of a price.
AIDA takes a run internationally by attending their first show outside the domestic market at the IBC 2017 show, in Amsterdam, Netherlands!
AIDA's first 4K product, the UHD-100 makes its debut as the smallest UHD POV camera in the market at the time.
After the reception of our cost-effective 4K products, a new niche of cost-effective HD products would be born. The HD-100 (known as our HD-100A today) was the forefront of our HD lineup. Little did AIDA know what this camera's impact would have on the market today!
AIDA as a brand attends the famous broadcast show KOBA, in Seoul, South Korea for the first time. With our small selection of cost-effective cameras, the Korean market rejoiced with AIDA's designs and quality.
With NDI® making noise in the broadcast world, AIDA and NDI® decide to team up together to help grow the NDI® camera market. From AIDA's standpoint, they wanted nothing more than to be the top video camera solution's provider of NDI®!
With the market ever-evolving, it was AIDA's turn to upgrade their PTZ lineup into the now world-renowned PTZ-X12-IP and PTZ-X20-IP. These cameras introduced cost-effective network cameras, without missing the features that our older PTZ had. These cameras would also spawn our very first NDI® HX cameras, the PTZ-NDI-X12, and PTZ-NDI-X20.
With the world slowly opening after the intense COVID19 pandemic, the HD-NDI-200 made waves as the first NDI® POV camera on the market. Featuring a formidable form factor, dual simultaneous output, and AIDA's secret POV formula, this camera helped shine a beacon of light for cost-effective video solutions during the initial transition into the global web-streaming switch.
With AIDA growing in the broadcast market, came another necessary move into a new office! Close to our old location, this new building is where AIDA resides today!
With AIDA's PTZ-NDI and IP series being a hit, it was only right that they created their first controller to complement it!
AIDA introduces their PTZ-NDI-X18, the world's most reputable cost-effective PTZ at the time. This product goes on to be a top seller til this day!
AIDA creates the worlds first dedicated NDI® POV cameras! Coming in three forms, the CUBE, IP67, and MINI rocked the community with its cost-effective, unique form factors.
AIDA brings the heat with its first 4K PTZ on the market - featuring a plethora of outputs and features at a cost-effective price!
AIDA creates their first NDI® HX3 cameras under the guidance of NDI®, becoming the first certified HX3 cameras in the market!
